Growing up, I had a lot of anxiety. Having a genetic predisposition for anxiety from my dads side of the family + having an overbearing mother from New York = eek! When people wish to be “young again” I just can’t relate. I have had to do a lot of introspection, self development, meditation, and a whole lot of experiencing life to get to the point where I am today.
This blog is a great new adventure. It is about sharing what is at the center of happiness. For me, to be truly happy, I have to make mindfulness a habit. Mindfulness is the ability to be in this present moment, noticing your thoughts, feelings, and sensory perceptions. Not just noticing them, but allowing them to float by like a leaf on a stream.
